Biosphere
Biosphere
2 is located just outside of Tuscon, AZ in Oracle. Biosphere 1 is, of course,
the Earth. Biosphere 2 was completed in 1989 and has held two missions, where
a group of people lived inside. It is a closed environment that mimics Biosphere
1 and includes an ocean with a coral reef, a desert, a savanna, a marsh, and
a rainforest.
